Are you living for the right purpose?

New GOD in town!

If you will think about it, there is a new god in town and 99% of the people around you worship him including you. In the last 200 years this new god changed our lives, made us think that we are happier when we have more from him and even provide us stability (which is a wrong assumption). we use to worship this god and think about him day and night. we always in the hunt to have more from him and feel bad when we don’t have enough from him.

this new god calls in English “Money“! we became blinded from his divine power and we even can’t see why we want more from him and we are willing to sacrifice our families and even our own lives just so we can have more from him.

Think about your life and wake up

if you will stop and think about your life (this is what i am trying to achieve by writing this article), you will see that the most important thing in your life are your kids, wife (some will disagree :)), parents and the inner circle like close friends. If you agree, that means that your actions suppose to support your family and friends. you suppose to spend more time with them, suppose to be happy near them so they can enjoy from you, give them good energy, suppose to be happy (crazy happy) every morning that you wake up and all your kids and wife wakes up with you (there are some families that not so happy and have this miracle).

More money == more happines?

When i look at the people around me, they do agree with me, but not doing what they suppose to! they work more hours to earn more money. The money extra money they earn being spent, not to provide more happiness to their loved ones (like family trips or other spiritual activities), it is used to buy a bigger house, bigger car, bigger and bigger because they want it, not because they need it!

Example:

One of my best friends had a small salary few years ago. He had time to go to the synagogue(Jewish pray house), spend time with his kids in the playground, had time to drink beer with his friends and i used to see him smile a lot.

3 years later… my friend have tripled his salary!!! does it means he is 3 time more happier ?

NO, the true is that he is 3 times less happier! i see every 2 months, when i call him he have no time to answer the phone, he sees his kids only 2-3 times a week one minute before they go to sleep and he is not happy!

More examples like that i see around me everyday and i don’t know if i am the crazy guy that thinks like that or all of my friends… in any case, if i am the crazy one or they, it is bad!

Shopping, Yaaaaaaa

As i see things, any experience that related to the new god (money) will make you happy for short period of time. Take the following example which i am sure happen to you more then once.

You feel bad and like to comfort your self. You take the new Angel (Credit Card) and go shopping (now smile). The process of shopping have 3 stages:

stage 1: you do the actual shopping ( feel good).

stage 2: you swipe the credit card and own the shit you spend money on (feel great - from here you can only go down).

stage 3: come home and open things you bought (feel ok)

from stage 3 and on, your fake happiness will go down and down until you will be in the same point you were before even going to shopping.

Balance

The idea is having the right balance! you need to understand that money is am item that can provide you happines, but it is not The happines. Try to explore spiritual experiences together with material experiences.

Whats Next?

Take a day off from your crazy life. Take a notebook and pen. Write down the things that makes you happy (like hobbies), write whats important to you (kids, girlfriend, etc). Try to see how much money you really need. Try to see what is the life you can efford (not including debts and credit lines)! try to think about your life with respect and responsibility to you and your family. once you do that you will have the solution to having a good life!

    This is just right!.

Since I believe in G-d its changed my life from stem to stern

If ever I would like to drive on Mercedes the most expensive, (even now I want to ..) but I understand that this is not it!

The reasones I want to be rich are:
    1. Buy to my parents a house
    2. another reason I’d rather not mention - but the reason is not selfish.
    3. Selfish reasons

Once you have 20 dollars- you’ll want 40,
Once you have 100 you would like 200
Once you have thousand you’d like 2 thousand
Once you have a million you’d like 2 million.
Once you have a billion you’d like 2 billion …

I can speak for myself, I was receiving paycheck of 1,000 dollars - I was happy to heaven
Today .. That month I was doing 3 or 4 thousand dollars that do not move my finger. maybe 20 thousand dollars would make me happy….

After what we Chase? Life is too short ..! we chase after A fantasy that we Hope will make us more happy :)

I wish that was easy to do … But i try .. :)
